Four Powerful Stones to Support Your Intentions

At HUM, my mission has always been to offer beautiful, unique creations that empower and inspire you on your personal journey of transformation through the timeless tools of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. Along the way, I have been privileged to collaborate with some truly beautiful souls.

The HUM Insight Mala launched in 2021 is part of that story — a tool for transformation, an aid for meditation, and a wearable talisman of your beautiful intentions. It was an inspiring collaboration with Gisele Theriault, jewelry designer and expert mala maker. I met with Gisele last fall, just as she was closing her jewelry business, Mindful Necessities, and preparing to leave for a three-month mindfulness and meditation retreat at Thich Nhat Hanh’s Plum Village. I was fortunate to acquire one of her very last malas. As we explored her inventory of stones and beads, we were inspired to dream up a new mala collection for HUM. Gisele hand-made each mala after returning from her retreat, and the collection is now ready to share with you. We both love the results.

The beauty and energy of the stones guided our choices.  Alongside the mystical labradorite of the Insight Mala, we were drawn to the heart-opening green of prehnite, the stunning blues of kyanite, and the joyful golden glow of citrine.

KYANITE

A high-vibration multi-hued blue stone renowned for alignment, truthful communication, and spiritual clarity.

Colour: Deep indigo to pale blue (often within the same bead)
