Shipping and Returns

 

 SHIPPING

We ship within Canada and the US.  For estimated shipping charges, the shipping calculator in your shopping cart will allow you to see the real-time costs of your shipping options.

 

Please note that our products ship from Canada so for any US shipments there may be local taxes and duties collected upon delivery that are the buyer’s responsibility.

 

Once you place your order, you can choose the shipping option that works for you.  We offer reliable shipping options via Canada Post.  In certain cases, we may decide to switch your shipping service from Canada Post to a courier such as UPS or Purolator.  This will be at no extra cost to you.

We carefully prepare your package for safe shipping and endeavour to get your order on it's way as quickly as possible, and so it will usually ship within 2 business days (usually sooner). If for any reason we are delayed, we will let you know.  After you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation and invoice. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email that will provide you with tracking information.  

Shipping time depends on where you live and the type of shipping chosen.  Usually between 3 and 5 business days within Canada and approximately 10 days for the US.  However, during holiday periods shipping could take longer.   If you need your purchase by a specific date, please contact us at we-care@hum.life 

 

Sorry, we cannot ship to PO boxes, APO or FPO addresses.

RETURNS POLICY 

I’m confident you’ll love your HUM purchase, but if you are not happy with your order for any reason you can return it within 30 days. See below for details. Please note that I have not had any returns since launching (I'm grateful that everybody loves their HUM products!). If I do, that product will not be resold to ensure your safety.

RETURNS POLICY

We have created our collection to inspire you and elevate your practice.  We have a laser-focus on detail and quality to ensure you a beautiful experience with our brand and products.   And we want you to love and use what you purchase.   We know!  It’s not always easy to choose a product from a picture on a website.  Which is why we make it easy for you.  If, for any reason within 30 days of receiving your order you would like to return a purchase simply contact our customer care team to receive a return authorization  (we-care@hum.life).  We will arrange for the pickup and send you a shipping label you can print and attach to the shipping box.  Once we receive your return and a refund has been authorized, we will process a refund to the credit card originally used for payment, less all shipping charges.  You will receive notification of the refund.  Please note that your refund may take up to one billing cycle to appear on your statement.  

Please keep the original shipping box until you are sure you love your purchase.  The products must be returned in their original condition, their original packaging and shipping box.  If we don’t receive your products in their original condition, you may be charged a restocking fee.

Before you return it, please note that many of our products are handmade.  Handmade products are unique and often offer variations in texture and colour.  We do not consider these unique features to be defects but rather consider that they contribute to the character and individuality of each product.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase was delivered, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase such as your order number.

Please note: shipping charges are not refundable.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

We’ve worked really hard to make sure our products are the best quality we can make or find.  Sometimes things just happen that are beyond our control - which is why we guarantee the quality of the materials and craftsmanship of all our products under normal use* for up to one year from the date of purchase.   If you feel something is not right with any product you have purchased, please contact us at we-care@hum.life and we will do our best to make it right for you.

*Does not include items that have been damaged from improper use or that were not cared for according to the directions provided on the website’s product pages and included with the product.
