• PLEASE NOTE: Natural rubber is latex - best not to choose a natural rubber yoga mat if you have a sensitivity to latex.

• Take good care of your mat and it will last you 2-10 years.
• Natural rubber is sensitive to extreme heat and UV rays, so store it out of direct sunlight.
• Avoid contact with essential oils to avoid staining and to prolong your mat’s life.
• Keep your mat fresh and clean by regularly wiping it down with a damp cloth.  We recommend you make a simple cleaning spray from water and 2-3 tablespoons of white household vinegar.
• Avoid using commercial mat cleaners.  They are not designed for natural rubber and may contain essential oils.
• For a deeper clean, soak or shower-clean your mat then roll it into a towel to remove excess water.  Hang it to dry.
• You can also machine wash your mat with a drop of mild detergent in a delicate cold water, non spin cycle.  Lay it flat to dry.  DO NOT TUMBLE DRY. Best to machine wash infrequently, a couple of times a year for example, as extensive washing will dry out and loosen the jute plant fibres.
