Jupiter Scarf

Inspired by the beauty of Jupiter - in all its pink, orange, greys and blues melting together. To get this effect, the weavers started with a base in a bluish grey and used a mix of cotton and silk to give it an airy feel. They added the 'jupiters' as 'jamdani' dots of ikat-dyed pink and orange threads. Jamdani is a technique where the embroidery is actually an additional thread that is brought into the weft during weaving. Very few weavers can create this effect, so this is very special scarf.  50% Organic Cotton, 50% Silk. Dimensions: 69" x 30"
