A premium incense that is hand made with natural ingredients found in the high Himalayas of Bhutan, including precious medicinal herbs such as red and white sandalwood, saffron, safflower, sausarea lappa (costus) and nardostachys jatamansi (spikenard), juniper. These ingredients are sourced in the Himalayan mountains where they grow at elevations of 4000 metres or higher. The plants are collected by yak herders as they move their herds in search of summer and winter pastures, and by families living in the remote Himalayan regions.
This beautiful and subtle incense is hand crafted from an 1000 year old formula and in accordance with ancient Buddhist scriptures, which dictate the materials used and the production process. Each stick is hand-rolled according to a traditional technique.
