What would your life be like if you made your choices with greater CLARITY?

CLARITY is like light cutting through the fog. You recognize your path, your purpose steadies, and your mind, heart, and spirit fall into harmony. With clarity, the air feels lighter…and you can breathe. Clarity is fundamental and crucial if you want to live an authentic, vibrant, and purposeful life…one that brings you joy, peace, and fulfillment.

Clarity is a sharp, focused, calm state that allows you to think clearly, make decisions more confidently, and move purposefully through your life. It brings greater self‑awareness and a clear understanding of your values, your desires, and your true priorities, as well as emotional resilience in the face of all challenges. Clarity also allows you to see what truly matters and to let go of anything that does not serve  and support you on your journey.  When you choose to live with clarity, you stop moving through life on auto-pilot and begin to live with more awareness, direction and purpose.

Clarity is a state of mind and also an intentional choice, and you must work at cultivating it. So I invite you to set your intention for CLARITY. These five practices will help you find it.

1. “I AM CLARITY” YOGA PRACTICE
Yoga is a beautiful practice to help you gain clarity.  Regular practice can enhance your focus, sharpen your thinking and calm your mind. Yoga poses offer you a chance to develop an awareness of mind, breath, and body, and a fresh lens with which to view the world. Clarity requires the ability to see things from multiple angles. This yoga sequence combines longer hold stretches and angled poses that invite energy to flow into different areas of your body. Taking the time to breathe and be in your body helps you access the deep inner wisdom within. Throughout this practice, trust that your body knows, and your heart knows. Keep returning to centre, wherever that feels true for you. You might silently say, “Thank you, inner wisdom, for leading me to clarity.” Approximately 15 minutes. 1. Easy Pose (Sukhasana)
  2. Forehead to Knee Pose (Janusirsasana)
  3. Seated Wide-Legged Forward Bend (Upavistha Konasana)
  4. Cat-Cow Poses (Marjariasana-Bitilasana)
  5. Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana)
  6. Extended Side Angle Pose (Utthita Parsvakonasana)
  7. Revolved Side Angle Pose (Parivrtta Parsvakonasana)
  8. Savasana

2. BHRAMARI PRANAYAMA - Humming Bee Breath
This is a fun and easy practice that helps quiet mental chatter and support focus for greater clarity. It’s aptly named, as it involves making a humming sound similar to the buzzing of a bee. It’s very calming and grounding.
You can practice in any position: sitting tall, lying down, or even in Child’s Pose to really feel the buzzing vibrations in your body. Whichever way you choose, inhale through the nose in a relaxed way, and keep your mouth gently closed as you hum on the exhale. Aim for your humming exhalations to be as long as you can comfortably sustain them. Humming naturally lengthens your breath, so this should feel relaxed, not forced.
Play with different notes—lower, higher—and notice the shift in sensations. Experiment with this for as long as you like.

3. MINI MINDFULNESS MEDITATION - To Cultivate Focused Awareness
Sit comfortably on your meditation cushion, or find a quiet spot where you will not be disturbed. You can do this absolutely anywhere.
Set your timer for 2 minutes. Close your eyes and settle in. Breathe in and out slowly through your nose three times. Then begin to become aware of the sensations around you. Choose just one to focus on. What do you hear? What can you smell? Can you feel a breeze on your skin? Can you feel your body in contact with the cushion, floor, or chair? Can you feel your clothes in contact with your body? Just notice the one sensation of your choice.
When the timer sounds, take three more deep breaths in and out. And you are done.

4. INCENSE RITUAL - To Connect with your Inner Wisdom
If you’ve burned incense before, today see it with fresh eyes and real curiosity. Experience it fully, and revel in its sensorial richness. Light your stick of all-natural incense and immerse yourself in the ceremonial aspect of it. Notice the crackling sound as you strike a wooden match, watching the tiny spark when it meets the flame. Gently fan the flame to soften it into a smoulder. Watch the beautiful filament of bluish smoke, envisioning it rising up and reconnecting you with your inner wisdom, like an offering to yourself and your highest potential.

5. MANTRA - SAT CHIT ANANDA सच्चिदानन्द  - Truth Consciousness Bliss
This translates from Sanskrit literally to Truth Consciousness Bliss—the full reality of our true self. To me, this is clarity in three sacred words.  And it’s one of my favourite mantras.
