Made from a unique fusion of 100% natural rubber and jute, the ecoYoga mat provides the best and most stable grip we have found, and a uniquely natural and tactile yoga experience. It’s an excellent choice for us eco-conscious yogis: made from all natural, sustainably grown materials with no added chemicals.

This one is 6mm thick compared to the 4mm thick of the regular ecoYoga mats. There are no dimples to grip the floor, but in return you get extra comfort and softness. Like practicing on a cloud.

These mats are biodegradable, recyclable and compostable. What more could you ask?…Oh yes…you can wash it in the washing machine!

PLEASE NOTE: Natural rubber is latex - best not to choose a natural rubber yoga mat if you have a sensitivity to latex.

CARING FOR YOUR ECOYOGA MAT

Take good care of your mat and it will last you 2-10 years.
Natural rubber is sensitive to extreme heat and UV rays, so store it out of direct sunlight.
Avoid contact with essential oils to avoid staining and to prolong your mat’s life.
Keep your mat fresh and clean by regularly wiping it down with a damp cloth. We recommend you make a simple cleaning spray from water and 2-3 tablespoons of white household vinegar.
Avoid using commercial mat cleaners. They are not designed for natural rubber and may contain essential oils.
For a deeper clean, soak or shower-clean your mat then roll it into a towel to remove excess water. Hang it to dry.
You can also machine wash your mat with a drop of mild detergent in a delicate cold water, non spin cycle. Lay it flat to dry. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY. Best to machine wash infrequently, a couple of times a year for example, as extensive washing will dry out and loosen the jute plant fibres.

It's a nice mat

I have enjoyed doing yoga on this mat. The mat has good grip which makes downward dog much easier. The texture feels good. I used a towel and warm water to wipe it when I got it and it was clean and didn't have any bad smell. Also the color is a nice cream white which I wasn't sure when looking at the picture. For me, it might be better if the mat could be a bit thicker. But overall, it's a very nice mat and I really like it.

THE BEST yoga mat!

I love my thick eco yoga mat so much! It is grippy and feels great. When I come to Childs pose it also smells nice--not chemically like other mats I have used but really pleasant and natural. I am so happy with it. I picked the white but it was tough as all the colours are beautiful. Hum has such high standards for all products (and ethical policies). I know my mat will last for years. I love this mat!

The forest green colour makes me smile every time I approach my little yoga corner, but that's only one of many awesome things about this mat. It has wonderful cushioning for knees and wrists, the surface is soft but grippy at the same time, my footprint is just as light as I want it to be (a compostable mat?! that is so cool!), and the quality is on par with Manduka and Jade. The company is a joy to communicate with as well - lots of respect for their policies and happiness guarantee. LOVE my mat. :)

This is a very grippy mat!

I ordered this in white and it's a beautiful cream color. I wanted a new good quality mat and this one has the advantage of being recyclable. This mat has a slight texture which is nice. This is a very grippy mat! Love it
